Spotlight on Oliver June 2010
Even if you were born and raised in Edmonton, it's doubtful you recognize the heavily mustached gentleman on the left. Rather than keep you in suspense, his name was Frank Oliver, and between 1880-1915, he was one of the original "movers and shakers" in Edmonton. Oliver opened the first newspaper in Edmonton-The Edmonton Bulletin, and he was tirelessly involved in politics. In fact, this involvement led him to become an Elected Member of Parliament, and a Cabinet Minister in the government of Sir Wilfred Laurier.
So why the history lesson? Simple: Frank Oliver gave his name to the community immediately west of downtown Edmonton. This beautiful and historic district is Oliver, and Oliver has a secret: Edmonton's newest condo project is underway in the Oliver District. Trademark Luxury Condos. Remember the name. These executive condos will soon be ready for sale and you'll love the combination of breath taking quality and affordable pricing.
The Bad News? Well, the only bad news is that this project only has fourteen units-a combination of one, two, and 2-Story 3 Bedroom units, for sale.
With this small number of units, you need to move quickly. Call McLeod Project Marketing at 780-447-0847 and talk to the Landmark Team:
