If you were to ask Lisa when she became a Realtor, she'd tell you she always has been one. Being the daughter of a banker her family was always on the move, and when there were no moves on the horizon, Sunday's were spent looking at open houses. Real Estate was something she always knew would be her life. In 1999 she moved to Aurora, Illinois and that is where she began her full time career in residential sales. Working with prestigious builders such as PCI Homes in Oswego IL, Steve Carr Custom Home Builders in Naperville, IL, as the sales manager for McNaughton Development in Palos Heights IL, and finally on to her last State Side Project in Nashville TN, a conversion through RE/MAX Chicago, Lisa developed a passion for representing her buyer's needs to the fullest, and a realization that success does not come from the amount of homes you sell, but rather from the relationships you develop. At the end of the day it is about being able to say you are proud of what you have done for your client.
Lisa would tell you finding Robert McLeod, and McLeod Project Marketing was a complete fluke, but the best career and personal decision she has made since returning back to Alberta. With a strong team of Realtors, who all believe in the same core values, and bring not only an incredible work ethic, but also amazing experience, Lisa believes 100% that her clients will never receive any thing less than exceptional results.
In her free time Lisa is often found running trails around town and in Canmore. She has been known to negotiate successful transaction's the side of Lady MacDonald and Ha-Ling on her day's off! Cycling is also another great passion for Lisa, and it is not uncommon to see her ride up to a past clients house for a water bottle re-fill, and a visit. Passionate about Cancer re-search every year Lisa holds one big fundraiser to promote awareness and raise funds for local hospitals and cancer centers. Putting her body where her fundraising is, she cycles the Ride to Conquer Cancer 200km over 2 days on the Cowboy trail every June.
Buying or selling Lisa's tenacity and fun loving spirit will not only bring you success, but also ensure you enjoy the process every step of the way.

Colleen joined our team five years ago, and brings a wide range of careers, skills and experience to the company. Originally born in Winnipeg, Colleen moved to Edmonton as a young child. After completing her high school education, she trained and studied to be a registered nurse-a designation she earned after a three year program. As a R.N., Colleen worked at both the Misericordia and University of Alberta Hospitals. Subsequently, she took some "time off" to raise a family of three great children. During this period, she was also an active volunteer, serving on the boards of numerous charitable, civic, and educational institutions in her community. In addition, she was a member of the Optimist Club, a founding member of the St. Albert-Parkland Rotary Club, and also a founding member of the board of directors for Caveat Alberta. These years of service resulted in Colleen being one of the nominees as Citizen of the Year for the City of St. Albert.
Returning to her career, she served numerous clients and organizations as an advocate for health care access, understanding and support. As a result of her health care activities, she was asked to sit on the board of directors of numerous public health care committees and organizations. She was also a member of various appeal boards for the Government of Alberta.
Her career took a major change in the mid 1990's, when she co-founded a forest products manufacturing firm that specialized in producing "green" building materials certified to various green building programs. The company's rapid growth lead to sales success in numerous countries, including the USA, Japan, China, Australia, Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and various nations in the middle east.
Still not satisfied that she "had done it all", Colleen switched careers again to enter the real estate industry. After learning the administrative and marketing side of the industry, she successfully met the requirements for the new Real Estate Associate Program in Alberta. Since becoming a realtor, she has recorded a remarkable increase in property sales, and in her first full year as a realtor, she earned the "Executive Club Award" in the Re/Max® system. Colleen's personal motto, "life is not a dress rehearsal", continues to direct her real estate activities, just as it has done in all her previous careers.
As an Accredited Seller's Representative Specialist, Colleen understands the needs of today's Sellers and has the skills and tools to get the job done. This in turn, is her edge with buyer clients, providing guidance in Edmonton and area as a long term resident of the area. Colleen knows the communities and the history of Edmonton.
Colleen is a huge believer in the importance of giving back, so you will be happy to know that she donates a portion of each commission earned to the Children's Miracle Network, Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation thru REMAX as well as donating personally to the Children's Hospital in Calgary.
As she has done in all the previous organizations where she served, Colleen continues to treat all her clients with respect and dignity, and her legendary work ethic has resulted in a rapidly growing based of deeply satisfied customers. In fact, feedback from a recent customer summarizes Colleen's impact as a realtor:
"Not only is Colleen a great realtor, she is also the warmest and most compassionate human being I've ever met".
(We couldn't have said it better!).
